Hello everybody just trying out this here forum , not quite sure how it works so i'm just going to type some stuff(nice).
i am a little curious as to how this letting everyone know when you want to go down so we can all go down and the cable will be open thing is going to work. can the 5 be made up of members as well as paying customers? or does there have to be 5 paying customers for the lake to be opened?
I am usually free and up for boarding most wednesdays ,thursdays and sundays but i rarely have my laptop on ,so if any one wants to go down and i'm not on line txt me on 07745 372 663

| The five people need to be paying customers, pre-paid for a min of 2hrs (i.e. £100 worth of cable skiing), however, if a group of members want to try to sort out a day to come down, Pete or I may be available to come and opperate for you. I know Pete is gagging for the water time, but you'll still have to ask him nicely!

hi guys, just saying hello to you all
just joined the forum after driving past yesterday and seeing what has happened to my beloved jetski lake
still looks good and could be the answer to my prayers, as i have been waiting ages for someone to be able to ride my jetski well enough for me to board behind.
now i shant bother and just come up to the lake instead
have been kneeboarding and skiing for a few years but as of yet the wakeboard hasent touched water, hopefully you guys can show me the way
cheers and see you soon hopefully

Hi steve, im leigh, a member at the lake! im kinda the local photographer and videographer down there too! Ive been thinking it would be a wicked idea to get some footage on the back of a jetski as some of the guys are riding round the cable... have you got a jetski or bike??
I dunno if its an option but if u were up for it and if Will would allow it maybe we could look in to sorting something out...
Thanks
Leigh

hi mate
yep its a jet bike waverunner GP1200, 2 seater but its big for a 2 seater
engine rebuilt and bored to 1300cc chucking out somewhere round the 160ish BHP
would pull a boarder easy with 2 up on the ski
let me know your plans i presume your thinking of sitting on the back and videoing
if you want to pop round and have a look at it give me a shout
steve

Well i was kinda thinking a jetbike is more manoeuvrable than the rescue boat so was thinking about following riders round the cable to get close to the action and keep up with the rider...
But im up for anything, riding and filming behind the ski sounds pretty sick too...
Ill be there on saturday and ill discuss it with Will, if your free come down and see us!!!

I've noticed loads of you are on myspace. I can't be bothered to sign up cus I don't really like it. There's too much advertising and it's not very well put together, but if anyone is on facebook.com then let me know. If you're not then can I recommend it. It's well worth a look.
